Happy New Year everyone! Hope you have all enjoyed time with family and friends over the holidays and are now welcoming 2019 with renewed energy.

Good news!  We have received excellent feedback from those who attended our December 30th luncheon at Maplehurst Manor.  As such, we are planning our next luncheon with a Valentine’s theme on Sunday, February the 10th from 12:30 – 3:30 in the Manor.


Guests may arrive at 12:30 and enjoy a cocktail before lunch.  Lunch will be served at 1pm, followed by coffee/tea and dessert.  The trio will play three sets of jazz, blues and contemporary music during the course of the afternoon.

Starter:  Mandarin Poppy Seed Salad with seeds, nuts & dried fruit
Entrée: Braised Beef Short Ribs tossed with Mushrooms and Tagliatelle noodles
Dessert:  Lemon Lavender Cheese Cake
Coffee or Tea

Tickets are 
$39.00 per person taxes included.
(A total of 35 tickets are available for this event)
 
Reservations and ticket purchases will be handled through the Brockberry, located at 64 King Street East, Brockville.  Should you wish to book a table for a group of people, the Brockberry will require the name of each person sitting at your table. To reserve your ticket(s) please call the Brockberry at 613-498-2829.  Once reserved, you can pick up and pay for your ticket(s) with cash or credit at the Brockberry’s front reception desk.

Food Shop & Lunch Counter open Thursday & Friday 12 - 6pm
Saturday & Sunday 11 to 2pm.  Messages are checked daily

Should you have concerns about the menu please speak with the Brockberry staff who will do their best to accommodate your needs.


Parking at the Manor:   Parking will be available along the outside edge of the paved circular driveway directly in front of the Manor.  You may also park your vehicle on an angle along the east side of the long driveway.  Guests are not to park along Sarah Street which runs behind the Manor.


Entrance(s) to the Manor:  Unless weather conditions are poor, guests may enter the Manor using the front steps.  Should weather conditions be lousy or you require an accessible entrance you may enter through the east, side door directly behind the Manor, which will be cleared of snow and ice.

As an aside, I will be away from Jan. 12th to 19th and may not have daily access to email.  If the Brockberry is unable to answer your questions I will follow up with you as soon as possible.
